A woman took to TikTok to share her experience with hair loss during pregnancy and how her ordeal resulted in a “miraculous” product.
In her viral video, Liel (@balayagebyliel) shared the process that prompted her to launch her own haircare brand, Lia Organics.
The TikToker recounted her struggle with excessive hair shedding during pregnancy, noting that she was “picking [hair] up daily” and feeling “super depressed” about it.
She described the experience of seeing clumps of hair on her shower floor as “traumatizing.”
Following the birth of her child, Liel embarked on a journey to research the most effective methods for regrowing her postpartum locks.

Liel’s haircare line features her $20 Hair Growth Oil and her $12.95 Rosemary Tonic.
In her video, she included clips showcasing the rosemary plants she personally grows and cultivates for her organic line.
The rosemary serum is touted as helping to “reduce shedding and increase hair growth by stimulating blood circulation to the scalp.”
According to experts at Health Line, an active ingredient in rosemary, carnosic acid, may contribute to the plant’s regenerative properties.
They elaborated that carnosic acid has been shown to “heal tissue and nerve damage.”
